The USDA announced updates to the Single Family Housing Guaranteed Loan Program, which has resumed full operations.
Details: The USDA said:

As announced on Sept. 16, the maximum principle, interest, taxes, and insurance (PITI) ratio has been changed to 29% as of Nov. 4.

Applications that were received prior to Nov. 4 will be processed under the previous guidelines permitting a maximum PITI ratio of 34%.

It is working through a backlog of application requests for conditional commitments and loan note guarantees.
