ICBA Senior Vice President of Agriculture and Rural Policy Mark Scanlan was named as a member of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission’s Agricultural Advisory Committee.
About the Committee: The AAC serves as an information source for the CFTC to promote and advise on sound policy affecting farmers and ranchers.
Background: The CFTC regulates the U.S. derivatives markets, including futures contracts and swaps.
